Kriser’s, Especially for Pets and Other IPP Retailers Rebrand to Loyal Companion

Pet Product News Staff May 6, 2019 / — Seven independent pet retailers recently combined to form the new umbrella brand Loyal Companion. The new brand, headed by parent company Independent Pet Partners, will focus on holistic pet wellness.

The companies now under one roof include: Bark!, Especially For Pets, Kriser’s, Pet Life, Pet Source, Dogma—Life With Your Pet and Whole Pet Central. However, IPP officials said Kriser’s locations in California, Colorado and Illinois will continue to bear the Kriser’s name.

To celebrate, all 52 locations recently hosted in-store celebrations. The celebration included free swag bags (for the first 100 customers), doorbuster prizes, raffles including free pet food for a year, 500 bonus points in the new rewards program, samples, treats and fun throughout the day. Select stores also had photo booths, taste tests, raw food bars, pet tattoos, nail trims and more.

Loyal Companion will include a new combined rewards program where customers can earn points for every dollar spent on both products and services.
