Tall Tails, IPP Team Up for Annual Blanket Program for Animal Shelters
Pet Age Staff Oct 19, 2021 / — Press release: Tall Tails
In its mission to give back, Tall Tails is partnering with Independent Pet Partners (IPP) for their annual BOGO (Buy One, Give One) Blanket program to provide comfort to dogs within animal shelters and foster homes across the country. From October 15 to December 31, when a Tall Tails blanket is purchased from one of IPP’s pet wellness stores — Chuck & Don’s Pet Food & Supplies, Kriser’s Natural Pet, Loyal Companion and Natural Pawz — a blanket will be donated to a local animal shelter or foster home.
Tall Tails and IPP are dedicated to the wellness of pet families in local communities across the country. Both companies focus on comfort as a key aspect of pet wellness.
“Comfort is one of the most important parts of our 5 Pillars of Pet Wellness. Comfort for pets is ensuring a cozy, secure environment and a body that feels at ease by reducing stress and providing physical care inside and out through grooming, regular checkups, supplements and good sleep,” said Tricia Nichols, chief marketing officer at IPP.
IPP has trusted Tall Tails to provide their customers with baby-soft beds and blankets to ensure a comfortable sleep for all. Now, they’ve partnered together to ensure pets in animal shelters receive the same comfort as our pets at home.
All dogs need their own blanket. Dogs find comfort in places they associate with the coziness of a den. They can paw, nuzzle, and rearrange a blanket to create a comfortable nest and secure sleep space. Tall Tails wants to provide that comforting security to all dogs, whether at home, on-the-go and especially those in animal shelters and foster homes. As they wait for their forever family and home, know they’ll be comforted by a Tall Tails blanket.
Tall Tails and IPP will donate blankets to the following beneficiaries:
- Ruff Start Rescue – Minneapolis, Minnesota,
- Anti-Cruelty Society – Chicago, Illinois
- Douglas County Humane Society – Denver, Colorado
- Humane Rescue Alliance – Washington, DC
- Animal Rescue League of Boston – Boston, Massachusetts
- Friends for Life Animal Shelter – Houston, Texas
- And others in Texas, California, Kansas, Maryland & Maine
